Cloudprint is the baby of bernardo huberman, one of hewlett-packard‘s top computer scientists and director of its social computing lab. Cloudprint is a service that allows users to share materials through their mobile device. “cloudprint is a new service that allows you to share, store and print documents easily using your mobile telephone. Hp cloudprint is a service developed by computer company hewlett-packard in association with research in motion (rim), the developer of the blackberry smartphone. It is web-based, which means all you need to have in order to access hp cloudprint is a computer, or in some cases, a blackberry phone. Using hp cloudprint is very easy, and the service makes it a lot more convenient for us to get our job done even when we are on the go. So far, hp cloudprint is only available in the united states, in canada, the united kingdom and europe. Cloudprint is a technology that will allow users to save a file on the hp service/site, and then recover it form anywhere to print the same. Cloudprint is printer agnostic, driverless and requires simple internet or intranet access. Like many technologies, i’m sure hp’s cloudprint is based on technologies that have come to market (or stayed in a lab) before it. The real power of cloudprint is that it works on all printers – even existing printers.
